What I Do When I'm Just Working For My Own Enjoyment, Basically (i.e I Didn't Get Paid)

By and large, after you start getting paid for your writing work, you like to keep getting paid for your writing work, even if it's just a token amount.  Still, sometimes you do something for free, for whatever reason.  Here are some links to what little I've done for free.

I like posting on the Analog Forum, and after my Biolog came out mentioning role-playing games, one of the other patrons asked me to explain in greater detail.  So I did, and some time later, this guy who's an editor of a webzine asked if he could put the board posts in which I explained RPGs together as an article, or if I'd rather do it myself.  I don't mind my name being spread around, and the text was already there, but I looked at the 'zine, such as it is, and decided I didn't want to trust this man to make my text coherent.  So I threw together my posts and edited and added to them, and tossed up a couple of sidebar boxes, and shipped it off.  Any of the picture graphics are not my fault.  I chalked up my not getting paid to doing something for love of the hobby, and Gary Gygax died shortly before I shipped it off, so I wanted the editor guy to put in a blurb saying I'm donating my time for love of the game and in Mr. Gygax's honor.  Of course, he did no such thing, but oh well.

But the text is valid.  EDIT But he took it off the site!  Apparently, no such thing as archived back issues!  I'll see if I can't dig up the text, because it's still useful.
